New to Jesus

Try just relaxing, and reading the following prayer out loud. What do you have to lose?

“Jesus, if you are real, I ask you now to come to me, I invite your Spirit to where I am. I ask you to calm all my emotions, to calm all my anxiety, to remove my fear. Speak to me and show me that you are real and that you love me.”

If you feel anything like heat in your body all of a sudden, or like tangible peace in the air around you, that is Holy Spirit. He is beautiful and He loves you. If you want to give your life to Him, so that Holy Spirit will fill you and live with you always and never leave, pray this prayer:

“God, I come to you and ask you to forgive me. I believe that Jesus Christ died and shed innocent blood for me, and rose again. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to give me new life, right now. I ask you to help me live a new life right now, to help me walk in new freedom from the life I used to live. Send me your Holy Spirit, come live inside of me, make a home in me. In Jesus name.”

God is real and He is spirit. He has many more good things for you and wants to love you and be your King. Learn to hear His voice and follow His presence.
