Dr. Rebecca Brown is a controversial figure within the Christian deliverance world, known primarily for her books like He Came to Set the Captives Free and Prepare for War. Her ministry centers on spiritual warfare, deliverance from satanic cults, and exposing demonic infiltration—with a strong emphasis on high-level occult activity and Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA).
-Promotes the idea of “walk-ins”—people whose souls have been replaced or demonically overridden
-Strong focus on spiritual discernment and purification
-Warns of demonic attack through media, jewelry, certain symbols, and even physical objects
-Recommends a very strict lifestyle, including abstaining from anything seen as spiritually compromising
On pg. 185 of “Becoming a Vessel of Honor” she says:
“Jesus gives His servants authority over demons in His name. Unfortunately, deliverance has gotten a very bad name in Christian churches because of the scripture practice as many use in our deliverance. We all go through a learning process. I regret that I did not make a clear enough statement in my first book “He Came to Set the Captives Free” that the struggle I had with the demons in Elaine was because I was ignorant as to how to approach deliverance. The Lord demanded that I write my mistakes as well as my successes. I wish to emphasize that I do NOT speak with demons or allow the physical manifestations of demons now, that I did in those early days of the ministry. If I had known then what I know now, it would not have taken so many hours to deliver Elaine.”
