When Holy Spirit reveals an area where there is a curse or stronghold, it is important to recognize it and repent. If you feel there is no affect or are unable to finish the 3 part prayer, stop and ask “Holy Spirit, will you reveal to me where I or my family has come into agreement with this spirit, in Jesus name.” Then apply that committed sin, sin against you, or sin mindset (see inner healing basics glossary if you don’t know those terms) that is revealed to you to the 3 part prayer. Rinse and repeat as many times as is necessary until the spirit has no more legal roots, then it must leave.

3 part Repentance Prayer:
Pray these in order!
1. Father forgive me for coming into agreement with the spirit of ____ in Jesus name.
2. Father I come out of agreement with the spirit of ___ in Jesus name.
3. Spirit of ___ I command you to uproot out of my life ,depart, and never return in Jesus name.
4. Holy Spirit I ask you to come take up residence in me and fill all of me, and be Lord over this area in my life!
